New Blog, Books For Boys

Rockford, IL (PRWeb) February 5, 2007 -- Author Max Elliot Anderson has launched a blog to help parents, children, and educators fully understand the need for books that are written especially for boys. In late 2001, Mr. Anderson began writing action-adventures and mysteries, especially for boys ages 8 - 13.

Mr. Anderson is the author of seven published books for young readers, and an additional twenty-seven unpublished manuscripts. Each story has completely different characters, setting, and plot. All books have been ranked by Accelerated reader, and are distributed by Baker & Taylor.

Mr. Anderson knows how to reach boy readers. As a boy, he grew up hating to read. After extensive research, he began writing the kinds of books he would have enjoyed as a child. His first published books include Newspaper Caper, Terror at Wolf Lake, North Woods Poachers, Mountain Cabin Mystery, Big Rig Rustlers, Secret of Abbott's Cave, and Legend of the White Wolf.
