"The Ultimate Gift" Movie And Message Reaches Long Island Thanks To Roey Diefendorf, C3DWP

Westbury, NY (PRWeb) March 1, 2007 -- Last night Roey Diefendorf, CEO of Diefendorf Capital Planning Associates and founder of 3 Dimensional Wealth International hosted an exclusive showing of the feature film "The Ultimate Gift" at the Westbury Cinema 12 Theater. The evening was attended by more than three hundred guests of all ages. The message was clear, "it's not just about money." Based on the book, "The Ultimate Gift" by Jim Stovall, this movie staring James Garner, challenges one to think about their legacy and the impact that it will have on those they love. One major theme is that of philanthropy as a way of amplifying ones wealth, a concept that Roey develops in his book, "3 Dimensional Wealth: A Radically Sane Perspective On Wealth Management."

But the night was not just about popcorn, soda and a movie. As part of the evening, Roey shared the work that is being done on behalf of the AIDS orphans in Zambia. Greer Kendall, the founder of The Tree of Life Children's Village joined the festivities to share his enthusiasm for how philanthropy can be a building block for creating meaning and purpose in an individual's life and the life of one's family.

As part of the "big screen" footage was the clip entitled, "The 9th Wonder of the World." In this short segment, Roey Diefendorf, assisted by Steve Howe, Ken Dillenbeck, Demetri Doumas, Whitney and Emily Diefendorf, illustrated the exponential power of the matching gift concept for raising funds for the orphans. Over $220,000 of matching gifts funds have been given towards this humanitarian effort in Zambia.

The Tree of Life Children's Village is a 120 acre parcel of land purchased in 2006 upon which dormitories for 300 orphans, a school for 1000 students, a church, recreational and medical facilities for the outlying community will be built. The total cost of the project is just under $5,000,000. This is designed to be one of twelve villages to provide hope to a currently hopeless generation.
