They need to understand that what they do, say, how they act, and what they wear communicates a message. All Saints Eve, a 113-Page Horror Movie Written by Pittsburgh Screenwriter Elizabeth Rossi, Gets Ready to Start Production this Fall
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) September 21, 2007 -- Pittsburgh screenwriter Elizabeth Rossi is getting ready to produce the feature film, All Saints Eve, a 113-page horror/thriller script that she penned in 2005. Following in the tradition of successful horror films such as Night of the Living Dead, the 1968 classic directed and written by George A. Romero, All Saints Eve will be filmed mainly within the Pittsburgh region. "It made more sense to film most of the script locally rather than in LA, because of the rural setting required," Rossi says, "... hopefully it will generate and expand the economic development within the Pittsburgh area."
Although more than 15 film production companies nationwide have requested the screenplay for potential production over the past year, Rossi has opted to move out of the writer-only role and join forces in the production process starting her own Pittsburgh-based film company by the name All Saints Films Productions. "It is a risk, however I felt it is important to be part of production to ensure the overall essence of the script remains intact," Rossi notes. "I'm looking forward to being very hands-on."
Bringing together nationwide talent, the ensemble cast includes; Jake Andolina, Brian Barna, Paula Bellin, Carl Clemons, Angelle Guyette, Christopher Hendricks, John Iwanonkiw, Catrina Rogers, Jenna Rowles-Romito, Shawn Smith, Rob Stone and Matthew Veltri. The first cast party is scheduled for September 27, 2007 at DejaVue Lounge on Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh's strip district.
Filming of principal photography is scheduled to begin in October with shooting locations in both Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Hollywood, California. Rossi is looking at several potential distributors for the film, and is currently considering all distribution options from nationwide theatrical release, network television movie or a straight-to-DVD option.
