Do you wanna know how bad Bride Wars is? Totally soulless and soul-sapping. Nothing to be noted about. It’s one of the worst movies for both: Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. Totally far of a league with Jonathan Demme’s Rachel Getting Married.
Bride Wars tells about two women who has been BFF’s since child hood and unpredictably, and illogically, end up in a feud over a hotel where they happens to have the same time and date to have a wedding. Two chicks fighting over something? You can guess the rest.
The movie is just going around in the idea that women are noisy, self-centered and flaky, while the men are sensible and wise.
The only thing that is worth seeing is fashion designer Vera Wang’s dresses. She got her products being showcased in the whole length of the movie.
Actually, not all of them played that bad. Hat’s play was okay. Or, take a look at Candice Bergen. She’s not bad at all and quite successful in stealing some attention. The worst is Hudson, and to make it worse, she produced it also.
My suggestion, is you see this one on the theatre, just skip it. Walk on to the next movie faster. I bet the latter is better.
