Notorious is a movie telling about the life of Notorious B.I.G, a popular rapper whose life is a mix of drugs, sex, pistols that eventually killed him. His life is so real, just like movies.
Directed by George Tillman, Notorious presented some new talent such as Jamal Woolardwho played quite good in this movie. However, the script is not that good. It is dull and somewhat broing. it is transformed into the voice of B.I.G from the grave.
The feud between the East Coast (B.I.G) and West Coast (Tupac Shakur, played by Anthony Mackie) is the main plot here. The scenes were full off people shooting each other which based on their true life. Up until know, B.I.G, and his side, still denied that he was involved in Sahkur’s shooting. Even in the movie, there is no such indication. And the majority assumption that he was killed as an act of revenge from Shakur’s side is also not mention here. Now that’s a little bit weird since his mom, Voletta Wallace, and Sean Combs aka P Diddy are producing it.
Not very entertaining, but its doom is rescued by Jamal Woolard’s performance. The choice is yours, not bad to kill the time.
