A Playboy model, Shelley (played by Anna Faris) was being sabotaged on her 27th birthday by her rival. It caused her to be ousted from the mansion and end up in a disastrous sorority working as a new and strange job, a house mother at Zeta Alpha Zeta. Here, she has to deal with the weirdos living there such as the girl with the funny voice Emma Stone, American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee and Rummer Willis. Is she related?
Now, to make it worst, she has to transformed those weird chicks into beautiful angels before the film ends so that they can recruit 15 new members to join Zeta Alpha Zeta. Just like other girls movie, The House Bunny shows you how the girls are running with time, hilariously.
This movie is directed by Fred Wolf who used to be a stand up comedian and decided to try his luck by directing movies. A team of writer wrote for the script, the same people who wrote Legally Blond, 10 Things I Hate About You, and Ella Enchanted. That’s why, in some way, the movie has some similarities with those flicks.
In a nt shell, this film is not that interesting, at least for me. However, if you’re the kind of people who loves to watch lots of blonde chicks running around, then it might be entertaing enough. Well, you can’t always listen to my saying.
