Imagine when the Earth is so dirty that it is inhabitable. Imagine also when all people on Earth have to go into the Space in order to find another Earth or until Mother Earth is green again and left a single robot to clean up the Earth.
That’s the opening of the latest animated film from Pixar studio which produced other hits such as Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Ratatouille. This time the hero is a small lonely robot with two boggle eyes and small tank tracks as legs. Accompanied only by a cockroach, the little guy keep collecting garbages, packed them into small solid boxes and put them on top of another until they all looked like tall buildings.
Wall-E keep doing that until one day another robot (this one is more futuristic) arrive on Earth to collect any sample of living plants. Their “destructive acquiantce” is really funny. The male is small, dirty and old fashioned while the chick is fast, shiny and dangerous, EVE is capable of shooting a powerful zapper. Soon after, Wall-E fell in love with her.
The story rather jump abruptly from a quite and romantic situation on Earth to a more hectic one on the big spaceship where the human live. The human are all fat and barely able to awalk since all of their necessity is provoded by machine. Grown ups would prefer the first part of the movie while kids probably like the merrier part better.
