JVCD, Vand Damme’s Life in Film

For  most of his life, Jean Claude Van Damme’s life has been a combination of joy, happiness and sorrow. His action movies such as Universal Soldier, Hard Target and Timecop has earned him lots of dollars. His private life is also full of turnmoil. The divorce and the drugs are also as interesting as his life in the movies.

And now, in JVCD, we get to see all of them in a movie. Tells about himself after loosing an LA custody fight ever his daughter, the movie is like a confession. It has less action and less thriller.

In this movie,  he is being chased by taxman and end up in a bank robbery. A crowd of people were calling out his name. The scene reminds me of a Stallone’s movie - Dog Day Afternoon.

The movie was directed by Mabrouk El Mechri and mostly shot in France. And by the way, he really cried in this movie. however, it laso has some funny side. That’s why some folks put it in the comedy cathegory.

For a family watch, this movie is not so bad. some of the funny scenes are really funny. And the dialogues are also okay, especially if you understand french.
